Our Life-time Inspiration
On June 4th, 2009, We had the honor of being part of our brother’s 20th Anniversary celebration in ministry. It seems like it was only yesterday when we saw them live for the first time in 1990 in Tacoma, WA. Even though we were only children at the time, it was apparent that there was something different about them. It was shortly afterwards that we would discover who they really were and what they were all about. They have stood the test of time and continue to remain faithful to their calling. They also have allowed God to use them to touch so many lives, demonstrating to us the need to be available and teachable. So many words to describe them, but they can be summed up with these: uplifting, humble, anointed and loving. To us (GK), they are our inspiration, mentors, friends, partners, and most of all- they are our brothers for life. They are the world-renowned, singing group, The Katinas. So I’m totally coveting this anniversary celebration and have to ask our Lord and Savior for forgivness and deliverance from this sin.
God has definitely blessed our brothers and has spoken loudly through all of them. He has raised them from young boys to grown men and has blessed them all w/God fearing wives and beautiful children who are growing up way too fast!
It brings me to tears of thanksgiving knowing this men are serving God all around the world!
I’ve been especially blessed getting to know them from the side lines as they have made several trips to Southern California! I pray God allows them to serve many more years!
“You are my witness,” declares the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, In order that you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. God is soooo beautiful and He shines so brightly through the Katinas! We Love you, brothers!
